How to Measure Your Finger at Home

01 – Cut a strip of paper or string

Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string about 10 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. Make sure it’s flexible enough to wrap snugly around your finger.

02 – Wrap it around the base of your finger

Wrap the strip around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. Make sure it’s snug but not tight – you should be able to slide it up to your knuckle without resistance. Measure in the evening when your fingers are slightly larger – this gives you the most accurate fit for daily wear.

03 – Mark where the paper meets

Mark the point where the strip overlaps itself with a pen or fingernail. This mark is the circumference of your finger.

04 – Measure the length in millimetres

Lay the strip flat against a ruler and measure from the end to your mark in millimetres. This is your finger circumference – use it to find your size in the table below.

All Seedkeeper rings are available in the five sizes listed above. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one – a ring that’s slightly loose is more comfortable than one that’s too tight, and easier to remove safely.

Tips for Getting the Right Fit

Measure in the evening: fingers are slightly larger later in the day due to natural fluid retention.

Account for your knuckle: the ring needs to slide over your knuckle to reach the base of your finger.

Consider the season: fingers swell slightly in heat and shrink in cold. If you’re between sizes, always pick up the biggest.

What if I Order the Wrong Size?

Mistakes happen – ring sizing from home isn’t an exact science. If your Seedkeeper ring doesn’t fit correctly:

Return the ring to us in its original condition and we’ll refund your order, minus the original shipping costs. Return shipping is at your own expense. Once the refund is processed, you can place a new order in the correct size.

To avoid this, take your time with the measurement – a second measurement taken on a different day is always a good idea before ordering.
